Perth Marriage Office
The Perth Marriage Office is located in Old Tower House, a stunning federation building that offers couples a variety of marriage options.
Open seven Days a week, Monday through Sunday, the Perth Marriage Office offers legally recognised weddings in a registry office format.
Staffed by Commonwealth Marriage Celebrants. Marriages are conducted in one of our stunning rooms, where the legal paperwork is signed, and the marriage is solemnised according to law.
This marriage service is typically for couples who would like to be married in Australia or need the minimum legal requirements to be married. The Perth Marriage Office also services couples who are requesting a Fiancé Visa Letter for the Department of Immigration for their Prospective Marriage Visa, or couples who require their marriage to be registered in Australia following a ceremony overseas, in Bali or Thailand for example.
The Perth Marriage Office is available to take bookings for weddings in a registry office format by appointment between 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (subject to booking availability)
The Perth Marriage Office is staffed by Commonwealth Marriage Celebrants. The role of Commonwealth Marriage Celebrants at the Perth Marriage Office is to complete all of the legal paperwork for your marriage, confirm your identification documents are correct and perform your marriage according to the requirements of the Marriage Act 1961, before filing all of your legal paperwork with the WA Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
All marriages conducted by Commonwealth Marriage Celebrants are registered locally, in the State in which the marriage was conducted. In Western Australia, marriages performed at the Perth Marriage Office by Commonwealth Marriage Celebrants are registered at the WA Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.
